Facebook made shock-waves recently with the announcement that organic reach for business pages will now be reduced even further. This change will see cost per click on Facebook adverts rise and increase the need for knowledgeable digital marketers to small and medium sized business, something we here at Short Digital don't mind all that much being honest.
Organic on Facebook is not dead though, it just needs to be smarter, more creative and more varied to work.
Recently we leveraged organic traffic during an event which ran over the course of a week and achieved a 1499% increase in post engagement, a 732% increase in page actions and over a 10% overall increase of page followers in just 7 days !
How did we do it?
Simple, we combined a mix of video content, Facebook Live and Facebook 360 with the regular page posts.
These three factors all cut through the clutter nicely and offer the follower a better experience on your page. In a nutshell, Facebook is trying to move companies away from the barrage of dodgy meme's and google image ripped photo's ruining users timelines.
If you have an upcoming event, or simple want to know more about achieving great results with organic, please reach out to us to manage the media output so we can achieve numbers like this for you !
