As you may have seen already, today marks some changes in Ads Manager. I have put together some of the more important differences being made to your Ads Manager Account no that it has merged with Power Editor.
Facebook Power Editor was once used as a an alternative to Ads Manager whereby you could easily create Ad campaigns in bulk and it was used at one time to role out Beta stage features such as creating Carousel Ads (Seems so long ago now I know). Recently, the difference between the two became unclear and they have now finally merged feature in a brand new Ads Manager version.
Now Ads Manager has adopted the main features and you can choose your creation flow of campaigns, either guided step by step or as Power Editor was; using Quick Creation allowing you to create Campaigns, Ad Sets and Ads in any order.
You can also Create Drafts of campaigns in Ads Manager like in Power Editor before meaning your work will be saved automatically allowing you the freedom to come back to multiple campaign creations at a later stage.
Reports from Power Editor and Ads Manager previously offered two different layouts with advertisers switching between the two depending on layout preference and/or specific metrics. The two have now been melded to allowing users to see there stats in one easy to use interface.
I will be back soon with an update on Facebook's changes to reporting regarding Metrics visible in Ads Manager, until then, best of luck with your campaigns!
